Today, my wife and I are in Tulsa, Oklahoma for a quick get away from home trip. We stopped in at Tally’s Dinner for supper and the food was amazing.
It a vintage dinner with all the classic homemade meals that reminded me of the food my grandmothers use to make us. The cinnamon roll was pretty good and it’s a huge roll with plenty left over to enjoy later.
While headed back to our vehicle we noticed a large mural painted on the side of a building depicting classic cars and Will Rogers. The artist did a great job with the masterpiece and I found it to be photo worthy so I snapped a few pictures with my iPhone 7 and edited a few. Here they are below.
Here’s a little information I found on the internet about Marie’s Trading Post below.
Marie’s Route 66 Trading Post
A large Route 66 mural, covers the pine end wall of Marie’s Trading Post. The mural features, several vintage classic cars, a school bus, with Tulsa as the destination, a large Route US-66 highway shield, & a portrait of Will Rogers.
The Mother Road is known as the Will Rogers Highway throughout Oklahoma.
